Precision extrusion molding eliminates the need for subsequent processing, better meeting the application requirements of products while reducing material costs and improving product quality. Currently, several mature technologies have been introduced to the market to meet the need for precision direct extrusion of plastic products, with polymer melt gear pumps being one important method. This technology is widely used in production lines for chemical fibers, films, profiles, pipes, sheets, cables, composite extrusion, and granulation.
Gear pumps are also highly beneficial for precision molding in the rubber industry. To meet domestic demand for rubber melt gear pumps, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, in collaboration with the Beijing Aeronautical Manufacturing Engineering Research Institute and Hangzhou Chaoyang Rubber Co., Ltd., jointly developed two models of rubber melt gear pump extrusion units: XCP150/100 and XCP120/90. This unit possesses ideal operating characteristics, ensuring a linear relationship between extrusion volume and gear pump speed, enabling precise output control and improving product dimensional accuracy.
