Precautions For Extruders

To protect the transmission housing of the twin-screw extruder, the following precautions must be taken:
1. Change the lubricating oil after the first 500 hours of use;
2. This extruder uses genuine No. 150 medium-pressure gear oil for lubrication;
3. During normal operation, the oil level should not be lower than the center line of the oil level gauge. If it is lower, add oil immediately;
4. Change the oil every 3000 hours of use thereafter;
5. When changing the oil, clean the housing and oil filter. After clarifying the lubricating oil used this time, refill the housing with the clean lubricating oil on top, clean the housing again, drain the oil, and then refill with new lubricating oil;
6. During normal use, clean the lubricating oil filter monthly. During the break-in period, clean the lubricating oil filter weekly. Cleaning method: Locate the oil filter, open it, and remove any dirt.
