Scheduled procedures should include dismantling and thoroughly cleaning the screw, barrel, and die head; inspecting the screw and barrel for wear and clearance; and repairing or replacing parts as necessary. Simultaneously, the performance of temperature control components-such as heating bands and thermocouples-must be tested regularly, and sensors for temperature, pressure, and speed should be calibrated to ensure precise control of process parameters. Gearbox lubricant must be changed at scheduled intervals to prevent gear wear caused by metal impurities.

4. Electrical System and Operating Environment Management
The extruder's electrical components and operating environment are equally critical. Regular cleaning of dust from electrical control cabinets is required, along with inspections of variable frequency drives (VFDs), PLCs, and terminal connections for looseness or oxidation. Ensuring the motor cooling system functions correctly helps prevent downtime caused by electrical faults. Furthermore, maintaining appropriate temperature and humidity levels in the production workshop, as well as properly pre-treating raw materials and removing impurities, is essential; preventing metal or hard foreign objects from entering the barrel ensures reliable, stable production.
